Alumni Meetings:

Finances:

  1. Current balance of $2,185
  2. We have noticed a considerable drop in donations after the initial wave. With many solid ideas on the agenda it is imperative that we build a strong fund and as you have seen so far, the association will not make any decisions around the money without consulting the group.
  3. $500 will be given to the active chapter to cover some of the additional costs for this years pig roast as a result of the Alumni Associations ideas (does NOT include the Bus)
  4. Now raising scholarship funds as planned to reward active Chapter. Funds will be awarded to the Chapter on behalf of a single brother and will be used for: Ritual Materials, Re-framing composites, New lanterns, etc..

New Business:

  1. 8 Pledges
  2. 503 Status (non-profit options)- Expect formal email regarding Leadership's proposal next week.
  3. Chapter GPA for Fall Semester was 2.43 (and rising...we hope!)
  4. Eric Hill attending Grand Chapter meeting along with one active brother
  5. We have 5 brothers attending the Ralph Burns Leadership Conf (http://www.alphasigmaphi.org/)
  6. Committee of Alumni working on Bylaws to present at next months meeting.

Old business:

  1. Please review the attached Strategic Goals that B.A. as put together (Thanks B.A.)
  2. Hank Kim working with Longwood Links (http://www.longwoodlink.com/s/278/index.aspx) to create a group name for ASP. (Until then we are urging everyone to be proactive and set up an account to show Longwood we are serious.)

PIG ROAST: 11am April 28

  1. $4000 total cost- Active chapter working diligently to raise the $3500 they will be covering.
  2. Chapter bus reserved- $40/person, email Corey Edmonds if you plan to ride!
  3. Rooms are reserved at Comfort Inn and Super 8 for those that would like to stay in town.
  4. After Party at Moose Lodge
  5. T-Shirts- (not bad...could wear around town!)- Pictures will soon be posted on website. ($12ea.)
