Gentlemen,
I do not believe there are words that could explain Saturday. The support demonstrated by our brotherhood on this day was simply amazing. Brothers came from all over to participate. After some time to catch up with each other, we teed off to weather of 80 degrees.
I saw a lot of laughing, a lot of cigars, and a few trash cans overflowing with beer cans on the golf course. All in all, I saw a bunch of guys having a great time. So, for all of that fun. Let me give you some of the results. To make it more fun, I played with the scores. So, TECHNICALLY, I had the winning team, but enough of my gloating.

- 2nd place - Non brother guests
- 3rd place - Rob Hare, Bobby Arnold, Marcus Greene, Dante Ricci
- Long Drive - Jason Taylor
- Closest to the Pin - Erik Hunter
- Closest to the Pin - Ryan Filson
- Longest Putt - Lance Daughtry
- Shortest Drive Used - Tony Wools (not a good award)
The golf included 58 people, a putting contest, and lots of fun.
Dinner was fantastic. Everybody hung out and caught up after golf until dinner started. Several people came in for just dinner, so it was a whole new wave of hellos. At one point, I was looking into the bar area from the dance floor, and realized it had been a great day. Guys were laughing, catching up and promising to keep in touch.
Gentlemen, I have been and will continue to be very passionate about this fraternity. There were 4 undergrads that were in attendance. I spoke with them about the meaning of our fraternity. It may be different for everyone to a certain degree, but on Saturday it was all the same. We came together as alumni to support a great cause. That cause is us, only when all of us get involved in this alumni association will it be great. We have the opportunity to use each other to better our lives, better us as men. Saturday was a small step to that never ending goal. Thanks to all of you that have participated in this association. To those of you that have not, this is an opportunity to help build something great with very little effort. I look forward to your participation in the future.
Now for the most amazing part of the day. We raised over $2000.00 to be split among our three charities by end of year. This is phenomenal. There are a few other details that need to be hashed out with the IRS before we distribute the money. I will keep you informed about all of that as we move forward.
Pictures of the day will soon be posted on the website. We are making some improvements at this time. I will let you know as soon as everything is back to normal.
